Whether linking to an external or internal web page, the steps are the same for inserting a link within an article.

Point your browser to the web page that you want to link to. Copy the full address. In this case we will link to Google.

NOTE: INTERNAL LINKING within your web site. [OPTIONAL] These instructions can also be used for cross-linking internal pages within your site. Instead of copying an external address, you can point your browser to an existing page within your site. In this example, we could link to the "About Us" page in this site found here: http://www.jsnegley.com/about-us |

| 4.) | Next, go the article where you want the link. Open it. Highlight the text to link. |

Complete the pop-up message box by pasting in the address you have copied previously. This will either be the external address like "www.google.com" or your internal address like "www.jsnegley.com/about-us" Click "Insert" |

Click 'Save.' Using a different browser window, type the full address in your browser and web page will load. |
