Setting up an Article to Display on the Front Page
It is assumed that you have logged into the administrator panel for Joomla and you have an article available to work on.
| 1.) | Either open an existing article or start a new Article within the Article Manager We first need to decide what short portion of the article will appear on the front page. This is usually the first paragraph or first couple sentences. Within the WYSIWYG editor, place your cursor somewhere near where you desire the 'blurb' to end. In this case it will be at the end of the first paragraph.Note where the arrow and cursor is. |

| 2.) | In the lower right, click the 'Read More' button.

| 3.) | A red dotted line will appear. Now, anything above the red line will appear on the front page and a little "Read More" link will follow. | |
| 4.) | In the upper right of the editor, look for the "Read More" radio button. Click 'YES' | |
| 5.) | Click 'Save' in the upper-right. | |
| 6.) | Visit the public side of the site. Fresh the front page and you will see the new article with only the first paragraph and a 'read me' link. | |
