NOTE: These instructions only work if the JSN Link PDF plugin is installed.
| Select the media manager within the Site Menu. Click on this folder to enter it. | |
| Open the folder that contains the PDF files. |
| Within the folder, change the view to “Detail View” |
| Find the PDF you wish to link to. Take note of the name of the file. File names are case sensitive so upper and lower letters matter, and punctuation. DO NOT INCLUDE THE '.pdf' ON THE END. In this example, “example” is going to be linked to. |
| Open the Article Manager. |
| Open the article you edit. Go to the location within the article where you wish to place the link. Type in the plugin's coding in this format: {linkpdf file=name_of_file} What the link will say. {/linkpdf} In this example the correct syntax would be: Click {linkpdf file=example} HERE {/linkpdf} for the PDF. | |
| Click the “Apply” button in the upper-right. |
| Visit the page where this link now resides and make sure it works correctly. |
